The Girls' Friendly Society (GFS) is a UK charity that works to boost the self-esteem of girls and women by creating safe spaces where they feel valued, supported, and proud to be who they are. And this year, they're celebrating their 150th anniversary by taking on an exciting challenge... an attempt at a new world record!
Their goal is to break the world record for the longest friendship bracelet ever made, which is currently an impressive 2,800 feet long. But to do this, they need your support.
You can help make this dream become a reality by creating a section of the friendship bracelet! All you have to do is order one of GFS's free bracelet packs and send off your finished piece of bracelet using the free return envelope once it's complete.
Friendship bracelet making is a wonderfully mindful activity, and this campaign also has a powerful meaning behind it. Each contribution will be joined together to create one extremely lengthy bracelet, symbolising the unity and connection of thousands of people across the country.
